Cuts in spending are mandatory for the budget to get balanced. Everyone has to sacrifice to make it work. Now, the governor of Wisconsin is making tough decisions to get the job done. They carry a 4 billion dollar deficit. Scott Walker is doing exactly what got him elected, and that is cutting spending including, pensions and health care for teachers. The bill though does not cut it fully, but the teachers now have to pay a little bit out of pocket.
We have been borrowing and printing too much money and stealing from future generations to pay for entitlements. This has to end, not because we want it to, but because it has to.
The teachers are angry for they are now going to be responsible for paying a small percentage of their health care and retirement pension. Jobs are not being eliminated, pay is not being cut, they are angry having to do what most people in the private sector already do. The private sector still has to spend more towards their own perks than these teachers in Wisconsin will have to by a lot.
The thing about it is this is your money that they want. The taxpayer is already footing the bill for these perks, and we just cannot afford to do that anymore. They want it free free free! Stand with Scott Walker in balancing the budget. It's sad that this world has gotten to this, the spreading of the wealth. However, now, there is not any wealth, there is no money. One of the main reasons there is no money is entitlements such as welfare, social security, and PENSIONS. We are broke.
The dang democrats in Wisconsin have run away from the state because they are spineless. They say that the governor is trying to ram the bill through. Ramming bills through huh, democrats do that all of the time. I believe the health care bill was pushed through without even reading it. Back to the point, running away so they can save face with their union cronies. Unions are the only way some of these idiots got elected so they are in their pocket. They cannot face the fact that this is what the people of Wisconsin want, and that is why there was a landslide in the election. The only people crying here are the teachers. So teachers, get back to school and do your damn job. Quit calling in sick to get school cancelled so you can hold a sign because your union leader told you to. Teach the children well and quit shaping the kids minds to think the government is a savior.
I heard one teacher compare this situation to Egypt, this is ludicrous.

PULL UP YOUR PANTS!!!!
I'm so sick of people not pulling up their pants. I am tired of seeing underwear of people that I would not wish to see the underwear of. I'm sick of seeing celebrities not pulling their pants up and showing the kids of America that it's a cool thing. I don't care who you are, just pull up your pants!!
This whole sagging thing comes from a prison background, saying, my pants are down "come do me." I'm into that. I never thought it was cool to be a prisoner but apparently people think it is. Prisoner is a term that I hoped to never have on my resume, even though, it was a night or to, I wasn't proud of anything related to my time there. I didn't go home with fond memories.
The other day I saw a 4 yr old sagging and his dad was too, that's just too much. It's nasty. Oh, and a chick was doing it to, however she looked like a dude, so maybe she was confused.
How much time is wasted in ones life that wears his pants like that, pulling them back up when they fall too low? Food for thought.
Funny story, my coworker saw a kid running from the cops, when the cops drew their guns, he raised his hands and his pants fell to the ground. One cop handcuffed him, the other was acting as that kids belt.
Did I mention to pull up your pants? It's a disgusting trend that reflects so badly on the people of the country. It really disgusts me when I see "adults" with their pants below their butt. Grow up, and look presentable. No wonder the unemployment rate is so high, people with their pants below their butts are pretty much unemployable. There are maybe a few professions for you saggers: drug dealer, rapper, and chain gang member.

Grammy Crapper Awards
Wasn't that display of crap last night such a waste of time. There is nothing worse to me than sitting around, watching elitist idiots giving themselves awards.
These entertainers can't sing, can't dance, can't rap, or can't write a song without saying mother effer. Thank God for Lady Antebellum being in there. They are the only ones that can actually sing and play instruments. If the country artists hadn't been there, it would have been a complete disaster.
It just bothers me that these pop stars get up there, and when asked to really sing their songs, they either don't or really suck at it. I mean Katy Perry looked like she was hammered, she can't dance or sing. Thank God she's hot. Bieber fever might be harder to get rid of than herpes, but I find it funny that his movie didn't win at the box office and also was beaten for newcomer of the year. I don't mind him too much, except, I really don't think he sang, and his mentor Usher, definitely wasn't singing.
Musicians, we can do better than this display. What a waste of time, good thing I only watched the highlights on line so I didn't have to waste my Sunday night. I mean To Catch a Predator was on, and that is way more entertaining.

Food Stamp Debit Dilemma
I remember growing up when food stamps were actually stamps. Now they come in the form of debit cards. These cards can be used at some ATMs around the country to take cash out as well. One story was about people pulling money out at strip clubs in California and the other at casinos in Vegas. Ugh!!! How ridiculous is that?!!!
There used to be a negative stigma about living on food stamps. This all has changed, and now more people than ever are on the government dole. From the fed to the local level, government is broke. One of the main reasons is entitlements, food stamps being one of them.
I was in line in Knoxville, TN at Food City, in the express line I will add. Apparently the guy in front of me couldn't count to twenty, because he had a basket full of fresh meats and vegetables, sodas, charcoal, and etc. It looked like he was about to have an amazing barbecue. I almost invited myself along however I had to get back to work.
The cashier rang him up, even though I said he has like 50 items and I had 2. They did not make him go to the regular line either, and that pissed me off as well. She yelled out his total, and it was well over 150 bucks, and then saw him pull out his debit card. I would never had known it was food stamps until he told the cashier it didn't matter how much it cost, cause he was using food stamps anyway. The only thing he used cash for was his beer and cigarettes. His purchase put my can of tuna and Diet Dr. Pepper to shame. I paid for mine with my own bank account though.
I believe if you are going to be on the food stamp program, that you should not eat better than me. Stamps should go towards can food and meat. It sounds harsh, but come on, people could eat healthy on 20 bucks per week. It can be done. I don't mind a hand up, but we can't be handing the whole bank out to people who have no intention of getting off the government nipple. Some use it for temporary means, and if everyone would, then it would be much less expensive. However, most use it as a permanent way of life. This has to end.
There's no shame in using a debit card people, but if one is holding up the line counting stamps out, that might accelerate the process of getting off the teat.
Help the helpless, not the worthless.

My favorite part of flying is the brief rubdown I get from the kind government workers in the blue shirts. I love nothing more than being yelled at by them to remove my laptop and to put all my liquids in the little baggies. I enjoy having to take my shoes off because apparently the expensive machinery can't see through the soles of our shoes, however they can see right through our souls.
Do we really feel safer? If you feel the government is making you safer by touching your parts, then maybe you shouldn't leave the house. It means you are just a scared person. Fear is exactly what the terrorists want you to feel, and many are playing into their hands.
Airport security should be left to the ones that have everything to lose. Instead of letting an inefficient government program make you feel safer, allow the airlines to hire a private security firm to do the job. Let pros do the work, not a guy that can barely count to ten. We can't afford to pay for all of these workers, for government waste is the reason we are in such debt. Don't even get me started on their tax sheltered pension plans either.
Capitalism can make flying safer by allowing airlines to hire the best of the best. The government has trouble running pretty much everything efficiently and this is no different. Waste waste waste!!
Also, why are we so afraid to profile passengers? Until we have evidence that Grandma Moses is a member of Al Qaeda, stop trying to cop a feel on her. She is not the problem, so go after the ones that we know are the problem.
